Rocky Mountain National Park

Everyone at the start of the trail around bear lake. Zoe walked the entire thing herself. The girls really enjoyed it: Even while we got rained on, forgot a knife to make lunch, and got attacked by chipmunks.
We saw a few animals at the park: A fox, a couple of Deer, the Chipmunk, and some fish spawning up a small stream. I’ve never seen fish swimming upstream and it was pretty neat.

Kyra and Zoe sitting on kim while they watched fireworks. They liked them a lot. When the fireworks started zoe was standing a few feet away from us and I had to get up and move her closer so we wouldn’t lose her. She was so enthralled she wouldn’t move from where she was standing, even the 10 steps it would take to come next to us.

We watched fireworks at a park, and Kyra and Zoe ran around and played while we waited. There was a tree there that had really low branches and Kyra got 10 feet into the air (high enough Kim had to climb up to be able to reach her to help her down).

The park we went to was huge. The playground had two seperate areas of climbing stuff along with 10-15 swings in a semi-circle around it. There was a sand play area with all sorts of sand toys, a huge rock to climb on with a cave built into it, and a spider web climbing thing that Kyra really enjoyed. We spent about 4 hours their one night bbqing and talking to my cousin Leah.

We got bikes from the Fort Collins Bike library and rented a trailer for the girls.
The bikes we rented were single speed. And it was the hottest day of our trip (90!). Despite that we had a great ride. For Collins is pretty and the girls enjoyed seeing everything.
