Rachel’s right, it’s the time of year when we summarize and look forward.
My favorite things of the year (in no particular order, but numbered):
1. Zoe learning to talk. I lied this one’s in order: This is the best part of this year. She’s fun and getting to talk to her and hear her talk to everybody else is endlessly entertaining.
2. San Diego Vacation. A week with just my family doing nothing. Fun.
3. President Barack Obama
4. My iPhone.
5. Left 4 Dead
6. The National
7. Chipmunk!
8. Going to Preschool with Kyra. I love watching her be in charge of things, explaining what I should do and making sure I know the rules. It’s really fun.
9. Kim playing video games with me (Rockband!). It only took 10 years but I got her. By the end of next year we’re killing zombies together for sure.
Resolutions:
200 pounds by 2010. That’s my resolution.

We just had a lot of our old pictures scanned, and Josh has been dumping them on flickr. He’ll probably be posting some cool pics taken in Europe with some interesting commentary about our trip (If he can remember, it was almost 10 years ago!) Not me, however. I wanted to give you all a laugh at my expense. I can’t remember if it was the style to wear your pants so high in the late nineties, but all I can think now when I see this picture is “If I chose to wear pants so dang high up, why on earth would I feel it necessary to tuck my shirt in?”
